I get the asmtxhci.sys BSOD but only when I leave my PC. I could use it for 6 hours straight without any problem, but if I leave for a minute or two it dies. Literally nothing changes when I leave, the movie or music or game continues playing, the only change is that I'm not in front of it and the computer crashes. I've tried both updating and rolling back drivers, doesn't help. The weird thing that I noticed is that in device manager there are two ASMedia root hubs and Controllers whereas on pictures online I only see one. Could you please help me out? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for checking in. So, my PC started acting very weird and inconsistent a couple of months ago. After starting the computer, the monitor would either show the windows 10 loading or not. After that, it either shows login normally, or more commonly, nothing at all. There isn't a consistent solution this. Usually it is solved by turning the monitor on and off or plugging it in and out many times, or just once. maybe by changing the VGA output or resetting the PC. First time it occurred it was with a GTX970 and then with onboard and then with a GTX670. Always the same. Please help me this is driving me nuts Rest of the specs is in bio... Respond with further questions here please.

Probably a worthwile investment, but it's too much of an overkill for me, the 1060 is more than sufficient for fullhd in my opinion.

My thoughts exactly, i only use 1080p but dynamic super resolution is damn fine

Hi guys! I am experienceing a slight case of confusion by not being able to decide which gpu to buy, I do not have one rn having quitted gaming two years before but I'd like to creep back. I like to play at the best settings possible but not intensive games. Examples: Bioshock remaster, Skyrim remaster, maybe Fallout 4 and Dark Souls I am looking at used examples of (only nvidia) 760, 770, 960, 1060 I like the idea of new hardware a lot but dont want to spend a ton. Should I save up for the 1060 as it's not an urgent purchase or go with something that fits my minimal needs for way less money? Thanks for feedback!

Well, sort of?...

Meh, I'm not into cars, and mostly this PC wont be in my only possession, it will be used by others for content creation, and other, very demanding projects, such as researching and making calculations, and yes, it's pricey but it will be a worthy investment

Well, changed over to usd, it's a bit less than 10k$

Hi, so, I'm planning on buying this PC before the end of the year, and I'm just throwing this out there for you guys to approve it, and possibly avoid compatibility issues. CPU: Intel i7 5960X Board: Asrock X99 OC Formula RAM: HyperX 64gb Fury DDR4 2133Mhz CL14 Kit GPU: ASUS GTX 980ti 20th gold anniversary x2 in SLI SSD: HyperX Predator 480GB M.2 Pcie x2 in raid 0 btw.: is it possible to run two pcie ssd's in raid? probably.... HDD: WD 6TB 5400rpm x2 PSU: Corsair RM1000i Case: Corsair 450D Cooling: Fractal Design Kelvin S36 Case cooling: Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 120mm PWM, 3 of these badboys Monitors: This is a question, I'd like to have an Acer Predator X34 for movies and gaming and working and an Asus PA328Q for every other use, where 21:9 is unconventional although, I'm not sure using two monitors with different aspect ratios works out very well  Any thoughts? Take care

I would try, but I have no way of doing it, I did reset the cmos, but I have absolutely no control of the pc whatsoever, it doesnt post anything, let alone going in bios. -
So, I'm in great despair, and I anyone that happens to help me or just share in my pain is more than welcome. My config is as follows: CPU: Intel i5 3570k @ 4.0 ghz MB: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 RAM: KINGSTON 8GB HyperX XMP Blu DDR3 1600MHz CL9 KIT KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX GPU: AMD hd7770 1gb HDD: 1tb wd black SSD: 120gb samsung 850 evo PSU: FSP raider 550w I think thats all. So, I bought this pc almost exactly 2 years ago, and it didnt have any problem, just the occasional "not wanting to start up" which of course was fixed instantly after restarting. Now, it isnt fixed. When I press the startup, it boots, stays on for about 5 seconds, and then reboots, but doesnt post anything. I tried: removing everything to the point when I only had CPU MB PSU and 1 stick of RAM resetting cmos trying ram in other slots detach fans resetting bios re-plug every connector ...and many other things. Now, I suspect that either my CPU or MB, or hopefully only the PSU are dead. If you have any idea of what this could be, then your help is highly appreciated!!

You should have warranty. Why not just send it back and ask for a shiny new one?

Well, this topic just got on fire I will take a break then, read, learn and play my lovely oboe... I hope I get my interest back soon Thanks for the kind words, it's incredible that you guys all have a game that ruined everything, Dark sous, Wow, etc. For me, it was League, but I might look into Witcher 3. Also, some of my favorites are: Battlefield 3, Bioshock (1 and Infinite), Skyrim (it's my bae), Borderlands 2, and I like Fallout as well, so I will try that too probably

So, after about 8 years of constantly gaming, (I'm 17 now) I got to a point where I still sit down to my PC when I get home, the same way I did while still playing League, Battlefield, Hearthstone, Diablo 3, Bioshock, WoT, Dark Souls and many other, but I don't know anymore what to do. I'm just listening to music doing nothing, sometimes scrolling through that Facebook feed several times reading the same things I did the time before. I burned out. I am trying to think about what to play, but can't decide. It's not fun, interesting, fascinating anymore. I lost a part of me. This might be good, because that I'm not a nerd anymore, and that has it's advantages, but I couldn't replace this daily habit, this "activity" yet with something else. I used to read a LOT, but that faded too with me getting into games, and it's very difficult to sit down and read instead of that something I do sitting in front a monitor, or to do anything else outside, or with friends. Has this happened to anyone yet? Probably. I'd like to have a conversation about this, or just share opinions, feelings. Thanks!
