Windows 8.1 problem

Im planning to downgrade to windows 8 since i heard some rumors that windows 8.1 have performance issue in lenovo laptops. If i downgrade laptop will i lose some files?

 

If you are not having any issues then there is no need to downgrade !

Only downgrade when when actually experience it, don't think you can simply uninstall/downgrade to Window 8 and retain your old files.

The only way you can downgrade ANY OS is by doing a clean install.  And if you do a clean install of the OS anyways, there is no known issues with any hardware that isn't hardware related (in other words you will have the issue no matter what version you use).

 

ie: there is no need to use anything other than Windows 8.1 Update 1
