Well, if they don't have enough bass for you then clearly something else might be better? :)

They do have enough bass, and it's very tight and almost perfect. I just want a tad more boost in the low low frequencies

500 Dollar headphones aren't enough now a days? hm, interesting

 

It's not about how much a headphone cost, but rather which headphone you like the most, or in other words, which headphone suits your preference the most.

 

For example, I'd still prefer my $300 HE-400 than the $1400 Beyer's T1, and the $700 HD700 than the $1500 HD800. 

 

It's like, no use buying a $500 caviar dish, if you don't even like caviars :)

 

I listen to musics only with foobar, so I'd only have to do the EQ-ing on foobar. For other applications (videos, games, etc) I don't find myself in need of further EQ-ing.
