Remapping onboard audio jacks

Go to solution Solved by galof3,

Ok, so stupid me didn't know I had a headphones rear jack. I just used the passthrough in my keyboard and change the output from headphones to speakers with this program http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=381416

In my older computer I used to remap the onboard audio out jacks so that I could keep my headphones connected all the time without a cable hanging off the front of the case. Now I've a gigabyte g1 sniper z87 motherboard with a sound core3d chip taking care of the audio. The remapping I've found seems to be only for realtek driven soundcards and in the registry the variables I can find that kind of refer to the pins are nowhere to be found on the Internet. Is there anyway to know which pins are which variables or can I just install realtek drivers and the other pins will be there?.

These registry variables seem promising but I can't find their equivalents online. Or I'm just looking in the wrong places...

not entirely sure how you would figure it out, trial and error? or would a program like this help http://www.chevolume.com/

Interesting app. But my pc doesn't even recognize headphones and speakers separately.
