Worth to SLI?

So I bought a GTX 770 4GB not even 1/2 months ago after the 970/980 were announced and released.

 

So now the prices are decreasing, should I buy another 770 and SLI it or its not worth it?

770 is still a great card on it's own, only SLI if you feel that one card isn't enough, otherwise you'll just be wasting money

well prices are decreasing alot, I bought it for 450$ and its was 350 after half a month.. lol I will wait a bit and probably SLI it

I don't know where you live but here in Germany you can return anything within 2 weeks without giving any reason.

If you have a monitor that has a resolution greater than 1080p like 1440p than it becomes more worth it. But at 1080p I would say no.

I bought my 770 on July, and I don´t regret it. It´s powerful enough to run most of the games at pretty high setttings, and as nike290 said, if you´re doing 1080p it´s enough.

If you can find another for about $250 then go for it. If not, buy a 980 4GB and make your 770 a PhysX card or sell it.

You can SLI otherwise-incompatible cards to force PhysX in games (like Batman which use heavy amounts) to run on that specific card, without otherwise impacting your system in any way. There IS a point where old enough cards won't benefit PhysX anymore (like using a 8800GTS as a PhysX card probably won't be able to decode something like Arkham City), but a 770 would be definitely useful for it.
