So as you may have guessed I am looking for a server case.

Not an actual one, just something to hold my m-atx board and as many hard drives as possible whilst being quiet (it lives in my closet)

Which one would you recommend at a maximum of around $50-60. Looks don't matter too much, just quality, expansion and loudness

A server case for that money? Good luck, most of them start at around $100 for a simple one and $400-500 for one with hot-swaps.

 

Also, don't put it in a closet, computers need fresh air!

Not looking for an actual server case, just a regular one that would be good for that purpose (aka lots of HDD bays)

 

It gets a fair bit of air, theres about a 30cm gap on all sides of it and I leave the door in front of it open most of the time. (thats where the quiet bit comes in)
