Also keep in mind the one you are linking appears to be stock, and has a core clock of 6ghz... which is going to be wrong.

PCCaseGear sells many variants of the 680. But the 680 itself is a overpriced card, your better off with the 7970.

Do you have to get a GTX 680? It is a bit overpriced. I recommend gtx 660 ti and over clock it. Or get a 7970 and then over clock it. 7970 and GTX 680 are fairly similar performance

Highend is always overpriced, I suggest you stick with mid-high end stuff where the value of the products are much better.

Because its a 680 and its nvidia, you pay wayy more because everyone thinks nvidia cards are the best, get a HD7970 from amd with water cooling and overclock it, it will destroy that air cooled 680, and because (in my region at least) its less than half the price of a 680 you could get 2 7970's and crossfire them

The 6Ghz is an error on their part. The core clock isnt 6GHz but the Memory clock will probably be GDDR5 clocked at 6GHz. The highest actual core clock ive seen as standard is just under 1.3GHz. Also try looking around for other retailers, but some 680's are expensive such as the Gigabyte 680 SOC 2GB @ £442 GBP and some other overclocked 680's cost £330 GBP. It may just be that that particular card is one of the more expensive ones and may not be much cheaper anywhere else.

In india the least expensive 680 is 700+$ !! No it is not a joke. :(
