sdds question

Go to solution Solved by hojnikb,

Just get mx100 and call it a day. Best value around.

Just grab mx100 and call it a day. Faster ssds won't benefit you at all, so you might aswell get the best price/gb..

Honestly, regardless how you plan to use it I think the MX100 is a great choice. Here's a link to the review of it on Anandtech if you're interested to see their conclusions on it.

The 256 GB version is barely over $100 on Newegg, that's a fantastic deal and leaves you well over 150 GB after Windows + your two games. You could make due with a 128 GB one for $72, but as I have one myself I know how restrictive it can be. For $40 more, doubling the capacity is worth it.

bought the mx100 so far so good, the only problem is where i had to put it on my case, i dont know if its ok if i let it be on a slot neat the disk reader driver, siting on a metal rack, is it ok ?

SSDs have no moving parts so its not critical that they are as perfectly secure as an HDD. Still, it would be better to get a 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapter so you can mount it properly in a drive bay.

I think this is the one I have, but I'm sure any will do.
