Gunmetal Cases/Components

It's probably referring to the colour 'Gunmetal Grey', rather than the material. Which they should really say, because 'Gunmetal' is an actual material that was used to make guns before steel came along - making it easily confused.

 

I highly doubt they would make modern computer components out of it though.

I think it's paint. The same one on Black, white or Red....

Not the same. Better paint, noon glossy.

The red is terrible, I have it
