Hi, I've just finished assembling my PC. Since I dindn't get a signal to my screen, I disconnected the graphicscard and now I can enter the BIOS. As long as the SSDs aren't connected I get the Q-Code 99 and my Corsair Vengance 2x4GB 1600Mhz DIMM'S get displayed as 1333Mhz. When the SSDs are connected I just get a A2 Q-Code.

I need your help :/

(Here is the current part list http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8YXbVn)

Go into the bios and set it to XMP Profile and it should run at the rated speed.

Main: i7 2600 | ASUS P8Z68-V | 2x4GB Vengeance 1600 | GTX 580 | WD Blue 1TB | Antec TP-650C | NH U12S | W7 x64

Backup: X6 1090T | MSI K9A2 Platinum | 4x2GB XMS2 800 | GTX 550Ti | WD Blue 1TB |  Antec VP-450 | CM TX3 | W7 x64

Okay the frequency is now 1600, thanks for that :)

I was now even able to set up a RAID0 config, but when I want to install Windows no drives show up at all and there is either an A2 or A0 q-code. What should I do?

(I power the SSDs with an molex->Sata connector...might that cause a problem?)

I use a usb stick. The BIOS also recogniced it and set it to primary boot device, since i don't have a OS installed yet. Using a Molex->Sata adapter is no problem, is it?

(Even if the q-code is A0, Windows still can't detect the drives.)

that is no problem. is the raid setup running on the intel chipset or the third party one on your motherboard? also when you install windows and your drives are not yet initialized you have to go to "expert" or whatever settings befor windows insallation or the drive unilty thing and you have to fromat the raid volume as ntfs. the drives then should show and be ready for  installation

It is set up with Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

Could you please give me closer Information on how to do this? The only option I find is to undo the RAID, but that's it.

no im talking about the windows installation now once you put your bootable windows installer device in you should be able to boot from it and choose weather you want to install windows or use unilties. I suggest you go to the unilties and then drive configuration or something similar and then you have to initialize your raid volume

I can only install Windows, restore a system image, check memory, or enter the console. I'm probably just unable to find it, please bare with me.

I already tried booting it with a second usb-stick containing an Intel RPT RAID driver, but that didn't work ether.

the intel rapid storage should not influence the driver problems... are you sure that the raid volume is detected in the bios? if yes try installing windows. When the window appears that shows you there are no drives you can install it on there is usually something you can klick on to enter an extenden drive configuration menu. Try looking for the drives there... If that does not work try weather you can boot a linux bootable usb stick. Enter the linux operating system. See weather the linux drive unitly detects the raid volume. If not undo the volume and rebuilt the raid. then try again...

Yes, I have set up the RAID volume very often. I have searched through every option, but I still can't find anything simelar to an extendend drive configuration menu. I have tried updating the bios and re-creating the

volume once more...it still doesn't get recogniced by windows, and now neither do the single drives.
