Headphones for under $100

Looking for some new headphones after my G930s died. I don't really want a mic since i have a Snowball and am currently torn between the Sennheiser HD 518s and Audio Technica ATH-M40x/30x. On a side note, is it worth the extra 30 bucks or so to get the M40x over the M30x. THe only different i see is a detachable cord and a little higher build quality. But as far as sound reproduction are they about the same?

I'm not sure since I don't have the ATH-M40x/30x but I strongly recommend the HD518

If you only use them at home then I would recommend the HD518. If you also plan to use them outside then the M40x would be better.
