Hey guys! My friend just ran Heaven on the Surface Pro 2 he just bought, and he'd like to know whether or not it's a decent score for what's in it. I think it's not bad considering that, well, it's a tablet. What do you guys think?

you should be able to run a decent amount of games in low or even medium settings. all depends on the game. most of the time u dont know till u try

I have a laptop with the lower model of that processor(i5-4200u)

I can attest that it will play games like League of Legends at 1080p getting aroudn 40fps at max settings.

He plays league on it a lot, gets 50-60 fps at 720p, cause it's so hard to read the fine print in league on a 10" 1080p screen, so I guess performance is about right.

He has MW3 on it, and it actually does run quite smooth at 720p medium settings with no AA. At the same settings other games like NFS Hot Pursuit and Driver San Francisco also run really smooth as well. I'm genuinely impressed at what it can do. And believe it or not, gaming battery life is not bad at all, you'll get around 3-4 hours of gameplay on a full charge.

That is amazing. I was talking with a lady I saw at Starbucks about hers that she had out on one of the tables and she said that it was an amazing tablet that she bought for school. They seem pretty awesome and really want to pick one up, I just have other things that I need first.

Yeah, not too many people seem to know how far Intel's graphics have come though, and the HD 4400 is actually a decent performer in games. I wouldn't imagine too many people buy Surfaces to game on them though. lol

would be neat if they crammed a maxwell chip in there for graphics next time (surface pro 4?)... since they are so efficient and can run really cool. OR at least Intel iris
