Hi! I'm looking for white sleeved cables for my AX860. (not "i") The ones Corsair sells are a bit expensive imo, are there any alternatives with same/better build quality of Corsair's? Can I re-paint the cables later? Like with Plasti-dip or something? :) Thanks for the help! :)

My build guide has pics of my completed paracord one if you want to check them out. :)

I'll check it out as soon as I have the time. I'm a bit busy right now to do a long read. :) Thank you for your help!

unless you get extensions or do it yourself its not going to be cheaper and full psu sleeved is just nicer.

umm no as their not painted in the first place and just no.

Not advisable in my opinion as the banding of the cables would cause bending would cause the paint to peel and platic dip would ruin the look.

Yeah, that's right. But if I can really do it myself, there would be no need to paint them as I can make as many as I want. :)

Bitfenix alchemy cables are very easy to bend, they feel like cloth though. Corsair sleeved cables are really hard to bend, especially the 24pin.

Sorry for the late response. :) You are talking about the extensions, right? I'm going to get them since they are the cheapest option for me and look great! I have a PSU cover on my case so it won't look any different than using full length individually sleeved cables. Do you have any suggestions? There are many brands in Amazon and they all look great! :D

Bitfenix alchemy. Any other brand is just plastic sleeve. Bitfenix alchemy is more like cloth, so no plastic and so much easier to bend. Go with bitfenix

That was one of the brands that caught my attention, I'm going to get either their cables or bitfenix's cables. Which one would you recommend?

Max finder, thyre more expensive bit worth it. I have teh gunmetal grey that look amazing. I actually was looking to sell them at one point too because I cant use them anymore since I fully sleeved my PSU.

Should I just do the job myself? I've read about it a bit and got scared off. :D

BITFENIX ALCHEMY! I have it and while it's only black, It is seriously amazing. I would recommend it five stars. Just keep in mind that like new PSUs, they can tell if there is a CPU or not so don't be so quick to file a DOA within the first 30 seconds like I did.

I've been looking into this too lately for my next build. I decided just to do them myself just for the hell of it and to learn how to and acquire new skills :D I'll be posting a build log soon if anyone is interested in seeing the results.

Just a normal guy with a constant desire to modify everything he owns.
