Hey guys,

So...I just got a bunch of money for my b'day and I decided that I should spend it on an msata drive for my laptop. (currently running 24gb cache with 750gb 5400rpm hdd)

Anyway, I was looking between samsung 840/850 evo or adata's xpg/pro. I don't know which one is better, so if someone can give advice that would be great. :P

Any suggestions other than the two above would be appreciated too. :)

Thanks

Edit: looking at 512gb models

Budget?

Capacity required?

I would recommend the 840 EVO Msata anyway.

Budget: anything up to $300

Capacity is 512gb preferably

I think amazon has the 840 evo 512gb at around $250 at the moment. Should I go ahead with it?

Yep, it's a great SSD/MSATA.
