I wanna upgrade my 22" hd tv led to a newer monitor

I have r9 280x crossfire

And models available and of my choice are

1. Benq xl2720z 144hz full hd monitor

2. 2x benq xl2420z 144hz for dual monitor settup

3. Asus pb287q 4k led monitor but for some games i will downscale to 1440p

4. Dell u2713hm 1440p monitor

Costing same as pb287q

Or you can even suggest some options

My main concern is should i go for 144hz 1080p or 1440p 60hz or 4k 60hz???

It depends from how many fps do u wanna have, 4k is a bit too much even for CFX, I'd suggest the 2nd option because of the 2 screens, are useful for me, but maybe for u arent... I think 27" is THE perfect size, 1440p for 2 280x's is a good choice though... Dunno how well are they gonna perform...

So id say 1440p 60Hz for img quality, but personally i prefere framerate, so 144Hz 1080p

rig: i7 4770k @4.1Ghz (delidded), Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz, ROG Maximus VI Hero, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA GTX980SC, Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, Corsair SF600, self-built wooden Case, CoolerMaster QuickFire TK, Logitech G502, Blue Yeti, BenQ GW2760HS

I am leaned towards asus pb287q 4k or 2 monitors in surround but the problem with two monitors is that they cause a problem of centering as in the centre there would be bezel

Two monitor gaming doesn't really work, but you could get two now and get a third one later, 280x crossfire is pretty good for running that kind of setup :)

Alternatively, get the Dell u2713hm, it's got a really good colour calibration factory applied and flicker free IPS panel.

I have two PB287Q but if you have that kinda budget get an ROG Swift it is fantastic for gaming and allows you to have a 144hz refresh rate which you will be sure to appreciate.

Can you tell me how gaming on 1440p resolution look like on a pb287q and what is the redresh rate

Please lemme know
