So I just built my first rig with the GTX 770 4GB which was around $400. Well the GTX 970 came out and is an amazing price but they discontinued the GTX 770. I was planning on doing SLI bridge adventually. So what should I do in your opinions? OOh and I don't know where the box is for my GTX 770 so eeeeh. Also it's only 2 months old.

Should I try to sell it in eBay and buy the GTX 970 but lose some money since I might sell it for around $250 and bought it for $400 and the 970 is $350,

Buy another GTX 770 adventually since they are cheaper and around $300 now, or

Do I just wait until my graphics card gets too old and buy a GTX 970 or what ever graphics card is around the $300-$400 price range?

Thanks.

either wait out with that gpu or pick up another 770

think, you could either spend lose 250$ but have a 970, save all your money have have it well spent 400$ and keep the card. or spend 250$ in a while and pick up another 770

Your 770 will still be working long past the 900 series being the flagship cards, assuming it doesn't die prematurely.

the 770 is a solid performer, if I were you, i'd stick it out, especially seeing as you don't have the box, not having the box brings down the resell value on it quite hard.

if the GTX770 is giving you the FPS you want in games, stick it out. If it doesnt try find one on ebay or pc shops as they are probably on clearance. I dont understand why people who just got a GPU wants to jump 1 generation. you are better off using the card until it dies or isnt very good anymore in the games you play, and jump to a future generation and enjoy the massive performance boost for your money

How many computer programmers does it take to change a light bulb?

None, that's a hardware problem.  :D
