S340 matte black

Go to solution Solved by ttam,

im thinking of getting a nzxt s340 to replace my ageing phantom 410.

i dont really like the glossy paint on it and was thinking about painting it matte black.

thoughts? also what paint and steps would work best to give be the best results?

Essentially sanding the case with 600ish grit to give it a surface to stick to. Stripping the case down, taping off things you don't want paint on and finding a good place to paint it. Matte black plasti dip is a good way to go. Will take a few coats so 2-3 cans.

I think PlastiDip is matte, you could try that, and if you don't like it, you can just peel off the PlastiDip.
