Hi! I've read some threads about this and all of them includes setting up a custom resolution through nvidia control panel. Is there any other way to do this through nvidia inspector or something? I know there is an option in BF4 for this. I want to try out 4K on a 1080p display. Currently playing Red Orchestra 2 Rising Storm.

Btw, can I keep my 120Hz with downsampling? Thanks for the help! :)

EDIT: I just want to take advantage of the GPUs 'till I get a RoG Swift or another high-res-high refresh rate monitor.

Remember you can't actually run 4K on a 1080P monitor as it is not possible to add pixels to the monitor. The new cards have DSR which looks good but up scaling makes games look weird. I would just stick to Supersample AA on your GTX 780ti as the image will look higher quality.

I know I can't but it's better than traditional AA imo. Nobody would get 4K monitors if that was possible lol. DSR is basically downsampling. Isn't SSAA essentially the same thing?

Btw thanks for the replies guys but none of you told me how to set this up, where do I adjust the downsampling setting?

Thanks but I read that one, it includes the custom resolution settings which I don't want to tinker with. I just want to do this via nvidia inspector or maybe in-game config files etc. Currently playing Arkham series and Rising Storm/RO2. There is an in-game slider for this in BF4 for example.

I don't remember how to set it up cause I only did it once and it looked like shit. I always use the best which is to force Supersample AA in the control panel.

No offensebut you probably did it wrong as majority of people who tried this were really impressed by the outcome.

Almost no games have this so you'll have to use that method 99% of the time otherwise your playing at your native resolution.

What about forcing it through inspector? I've read so many articles and I ended up confused, sorry man. :)
