[Keyboard] Problem with "duplicating keystrokes"

Hello,

 

I´am experiencing an awfully annoying problem with my Gigabyte Aivia Osmium keyboard.

Nearly everytime I press a key the output gets, sort of "duplicated", small example:

I think that  mmy keyboard has a pproblem and I dont know how to fix it.This pppproblem that I have is really annoying. As you mmmight have noticed even my sppace  key gets "duplicated".

I´ve tried messing around with the Windows keyboard settings, I was not successful.

If you can offer any advice on this problem I would be verry thankful.

ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0, AM3

AMD FX-8350

AMD Radeon HD 6850

8GB Corsair Vengeance

Might be defective. Not sure if other people with this keyboard get this problem too, but you can always ask for RMA.

lmao, hes probbly right, try plugging the keyboard into a different rig/laptop, and see it happens

I am wrong. It's actually worse than that.

 

I just googled it, and it seems like that keyboard has an issue with double keystrokes, as you can see from this review: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/Gigabytes-Osmium-Keyboard-Great-Design-Flawed-Execution/?page=3

 

This means that you won't be able to RMA it either, because its actually not defective, that's "normal" for the keyboard.

SO you're going to have to live with it until you can buy a new keyboard.

Thats a good idea but, unfortunately it is allmoast 2am where I life and thats not an option right now, any other ideas i could try in the mean time?

Well... damn. Any suggestions on what keyboard i  should get instead, the reason i bought this one is because of the usb hub and the blue backlight, the usb hub is important but the blue backlight was just because i liked it.

Not sure, I dont know that many keyboards other than corsair or ducky...

Just make a new topic in the peripherals section asking for a keyboard with those feature and state the price
