So I am getting the Corsair 230t, 1 Should I get it or should I get something else? I'm looking for something like this, 2 I am holding back on buying it only because of the rubber grommets, or lack there of, and the lack of dust filters(which I can buy), I found some rubber grommets for the 350D and was also wondering if they would fit.

1. It´s a good case for the money so i think that this is perfect if you don´t want to pay a lot of money on your case. 2. I dont think that you neeed ruber grommets in your because you don´t look very often in your case and even if you look into your case it looks not horrible without ruber grommets if you make a good job at cable managment. 3. You don´t need fan filters because the case has a large mesh front which collects a lot of dust and acts like a fan filter.

Erhh... if you have a side panel window (and don't hide the case under your desk) you're definitely going to look in it.

to point 3, if the mesh is large, then it will easily let dust through. The only type of mesh that will seriously slow dust getting through is fine mesh, such as on the demcifilters. You will be looking in the case if it has a window, so you want it to look presentational, so grommets are a big plus.

I would suggest you look at the arc midi R2, it's a cracking specced case for a rather cheap price, and is a direct price based competitor to the 230t.

I have the corsair Carbide Spec-03 at the pc of my brother and the front has a large mesh front which collects a lot of dust. Yes there is a little bit of fine dust in the case but not whole lot. And it is on the desk and has a window but for me it looks okay even without grommets.

Are you looking at the windowed one? Cause you can get a Fractal Arc Midi R2 for a tenner more, which I'd say is well worth it.

I Am looking at the windowed one, its just that the Arc Midi R2 looks too plain, I want something not as flashy but not bland or boring, plus I can get the 230T for about 60$, Thanks though for the suggestion. I think I might get the 230t but I'm not just sure. As I said before, I love the features of the 230t its just the dust filters and the rubber grommets.
