1.45V Northbridge

Hey guys and gals, I'm using a TA790XE motherboard and using 1.45V on the NB to get 2400MHz, and have done for a few months.

It is 100% stable, but what do people think about running such a high voltage on the NB? Could it be dangerous?

GEZUS man! 1.45V for the NB chip?!?

What is the temp for it -- like 65°C+?

If chipset 790X / 790FX is the same a 890FX and 990FX, its recommended to keep is around or below 50°C is possible.

Northbridge has it's own custom fans, and stays below 25 degrees. Other than temps, should it be fine?

Wait, you put a fan over the NB chip set? The TA970XE doesn't come with a cooling fan on the NB.

Hold on, you know where the NB is located on the board, right?

Not much response on this one, I guess people just don't know. :o

If that's the case, you're fine then.

I assumed you were only using the puny stock heatsink.
