What about this? i use a website called PLE for most of my computer parts and i was wondering if someone could take a look at this and tell me if this is a good build? don't forget to add like $325 to that price due to having Red modular cables, 7 red led fans and 2 red led lightning strips.

if you build computer by yourself you will get 2 way SLI GTX 980 On That PLE Price And you can save your extra 500 $

You will save $500 or so by going with GTX 970 SLI over the GTX 980 SLI. For a 1080P 144Hz monitor then the GTX 970 SLI will be a beast of a setup. The GTX 970 is nearly as fast as a 780ti, but for less money.

If you want value for money, then the GTX 970 is the way to go. If you want to spend all/most of your budget then go for the GTX 980.
