Gaming Pc Build help!

Go to solution Solved by vern021,

This is a build where I can't change anything to make it better because IT IS solid. Good job. :)

Hello everyone. I've been trying to get into PC gaming but I've run into some financial issues. I'm now back on track and getting close to my getting my PC. I had ordered my case before i ran into money issues so i don't need a case but i need the rest of my parts to be UNDER $1000. I have the rest of my parts picked out But this is my first build and I'm not a complete expert with this stuff.

My planned build

Looks very good! Obviously an SSD would be nice but to fit one you'd have to forgo the 970 so I'd say keep the 970 and get the SSD in the future. Also you may wish to consider buying the retail version of Windows 8.1, it doesn't actually cost that much more but there'll be less future hassle with upgrades (I think...?). Probably not that much of an issue though so I'd say you're good to go :)
