OC 970 SLI question

How many watts would you recommend for overclocked 970's in SLI?

 

I currently have a Corsair RM 650w PSU and I want to know if need to upgrade.

MY CURRENT PC

650w is pretty tight. 750w is good but if you get a new one anyways get a 850.

I was planning on selling my 650w to my friend for his new build and then getting an EVGA 1000w psu.

 

I want to be as "future proof" as possible and 1000w seems pretty good to me.

 

I do have the money right now so I might as well go big or go home  :P

 

btw, how much do you I should sell my power supply to him for?  I was thinking around $50 since I've been using it for less than a year.
