Why? The processor switch makes no sense performance wise. And you wont need more PCIE lanes for 1 GPU.

why go from 980 sli to a single 970???????

Planning on switch gpus. left the gtx 970 for placeholder for budget.

It is enough, but I would personally get around 850w PSU instead for the reduced noise. And for space for upgrades.
