Weird problem

Go to solution Solved by scaryjam823,

it's NTFS, cause it's 4TB HDD.

Oh, good idea, but problem is, I don't have CD/DVD rom at all. Can I install ubuntu on flash drive? Or are there any easy ways?

Download Unlocker. One of the best programs for windows I have ever downloaded. Used it for years to solve problems just like this. Install it, right click the file, click unlocker. Then select delete option. Done. If it can't delete it right there, it will delete when you restart your computer automatically.

Strange, but it seems I can't delete 1 mkv file on my D Disk. Other files seem ok, it's just god damn file. It's stuck on this dialog:

And the more weird is, just look at this yourself:

And my CPU temp is 52...

Can't also rename it...

How big is said file?

Are you on NTFS or FAT-32?

perhaps a quick way to delete it would be to download and create a live ubuntu disk, locate your file on disk and remove it from there.

Thx, will try it now. If it doesn't help, then I will try the other method @Altecice suggested.

I'm 100% certain it will fix the problem, I have never had it not work. :D I think I have used the program for 6 years now? Been a long time, half the time I just let it delete files for me. It is quicker than windows deleting them. :)

Damn. I'm unable to download it. Both Chrome & Firefox blocked it, saying it contains virus.

It's not a virus lol. It's on cnet. You should be able to let it download anyways? Try cnet and see if that will install, that first link may have been the wrong site. I can't remember what the original site for the program looks like. But if it says it is still a virus from cnet chances are it is because it modifies windows. Just a false positive.
