So which is better - GTX 660Ti or RADEON 7950?

I can't find a perfect specs comparison, I mean obviously they use different hardware like CUDA cores/ Stream processors.

But I would be getting an OC 3GB version of either.

I would go with the 7950. It can OC a lot higher and with better performance.

If you can add around $30 a MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950 will be great card since it can be overclocked to beat the 7970 card.

Get an HD 7950 3GB boost card, they're as fast as 670s right out of the box & faster than 680s once you overclock them.

They also have a wider memory buss & a larger frame buffer which make them a lot faster than the nvidia counterparts with Anti Aliasing (the graphics setting that you enable in games to get rid of jaggys)

Another reason why I'd recommend the 7950 is that you get 4 games for free bundled with the card, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider & Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon.

HOLY CRAP

OK, well that's me just absolutely convinced, thanks guys! I've checked out some more comparisons and yeah, the 7950 consistently gets higher FPS in just about every game. Just wow.

But getting Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider AND Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon just amazes me. That's awesome, considering I have none of those games!

7950 it is!

BTW, because AMD can't use GPU based PhysX and it has to outsource the processing from the CPU, will that fact that I have an i7 3770k @ 3.4 GHz help ?

Yes, in fact it was shown that a 7970 + CPU PhysX was slightly faster than a 680 with PhysX enabled in Borderlands 2.

Glad to be of help Steve :)
