Hello guys,

I am a PC noob and I want to build my first PC. I've been doing a lot of reading and decided to get:

- GTX 970

- Intel CORE I7-4790K

- 16 GB of DDR3 Memory at 2133 MHz

- A 120 GB SSD for the boot drive and 3 TB for media storage (at 7200 rpm)

I would love it if you guys can recommend a PSU, a motherboard, a case and which 970 I should buy?

And do you guys have any idea on how to keep noise and heat to a minimum?

Thanks in advance :D

Nour

Im gathering you only going to game? If so cahnge the processor to i5 4690k and get corsair 105 liquid cooler so you can over clock it if you want unless money isnt a problem then go for the i7 but you wont notice the difference in games.

GTX 970 i would go for gigabyte G1 gaming edition

Ram again if its for gaming only go for 2x 4GB for now and maybe DDR3-1866 Memory not 2133MHz

I would go for the MSI gaming 5 or gaming 7 MB

NZXT H440 is great for management and noise reduction

Anywhere from a 550W to a 750W (if you're a bit paranoid and want to feel safe) power supply should be fine.

(I may be massively wrong, power supply people: please speak up if that is true.)

I got sent to prison after following Linus' instructions to #Makebombs

A JRPG just wouldn't be a JRPG if it didn't end with teenagers using the power of friendship to kill God.

Alright I want to use the computer for content creation (editing video) and for heavy gaming (Battlefield 4). I have a budget of around 1800 to 2000$.

I just want something that would last at least 5 to 6 years.

Please keep in mind that I live in Dubai so the price of PC parts if a lot more expensive. For example a GTX 970 reference design is 500 $ instead of 330 $
