So I believe my EVGA GTX760 has died.

Reasons:

Started getting Black screens. When I would do a hard boot, would get a windows system error for BSOD and the code was 116. Upon searching online, it appears it is video related.

Steps taken to remedy:

Reseated the card.

Tried different slot.

Uninstalled drivers. Used driver sweeper to remove any files related. Rebooted, and installed an older version to test. Machine would not boot into anything other than 800 x 600.

I have an older GTX560ti that I have put in my system for the time being and it is running smooth and flawless right now.

Just wanted to get your opinions and thoughts/comments on if this is truely a faulty card. I bought the card back in March, so it has been 6-7 months now. Has been working perfect and beautifully up until this morning.

RMA it. EVGA won't have any issues replacing it.

I have opened a support request on it to do just that. Just wanted to see what you guys thought and if you come to the same conclusions based on symptoms and attempted remedies.

You could try the oven method as a last resort, but I'll rather evex it.
