Cannot connect using ASUS PCE-AC68

I just installed this card into my motherboard and all seemed to be going well, I am able to see wireless connections but when I connect the connection absolutely haywire. It starts connecting, disconnecting and shutting off completely in a matter of seconds. I've never seen a connection do this before, just bouncing all over the damn place. I installed all drivers that came with the disk and looked online for drivers. Has anyone had a similar experience with this card?

Have you installed the latest drivers from online?

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W
