I had a look at my memory usage and apparently my SWAP memory is always almost maxed out in some games and programs, but the Ram is not, and this causes issues with my pc. What is SWAP memory specifically and what can i do about this?

How many computer programmers does it take to change a light bulb?

None, that's a hardware problem.  :D

Isn't it used when you run out of ram, however you have not so I'm not sure.

SWAP is unix's equivalent to Windows's Pagefile. It's a partition for "RAM" that's dumped to your hard disk, so it's extremely slow.

Then why is this memory always full instead of my ram?
