I wasn't paying attention and I ordered the 4790s instead of the 4790 on newegg and it's too late to cancel the order. If I return it do I have to pay the restocking fee. I don't have money to pay for it and still get the 4790. Should I just keep it and live a life without a overclocked cpu?

The max turbo speed is still 4.0 Ghz, so you're not really losing much performance.. While the 4790K would be both faster stock and overclockable, you're not going to be bottlenecked by the 4790S at all.

I would just keep it, considering the fact that you'd have to pay a fee to return it..

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

If the restocking fee is like $10 return it and buy a 4690K if you're just gaming :)

People are gonna hate me for saying this, but I think if you're getting a 4790 then you really should overclock it... If you're not into overclocking, you should just get the first gen Haswell i7
