If the motherboard doesn't support SLI then then it means no SLI, you can however run single Nvidia card without any issues.

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

If it doesn't say it supports SLI, which it should say either with a logo on the motherboard or on its box, then you can't run two nvidia gpus. On its product page on the msi website it does not mention SLI support, so therefore it will not support it, as they would quite clearly state it if it could do so.

Then You won't get SLI, unless I am missing something and SLI is now a common feature on motherboards. I think manufacturers still need a license for SLI, but I could be wrong.
