Hey guys!

I have got a Audio-Technica AD700x (with a Fiio E10) which I use alot, bought it about a year ago.

After not using them for about 4 days ( they were just lying around ), i plugged them into my Fiio again .... and noticed that the sound only came from the right earcup.

So I thought it would just be a problem with my cables , i deplugged everything and plugged everything in again. Still no sound from my left earcup.

After that i plugged in my Beyerdynamics and it worked just perfectly fine.

My question is:

Is one of the cans broke really broke after only 1 year (I also dropped them alot and they didnt get one scratch)?

If yes: How the hell did it get damaged from just lying around?

Thanks for your time! :)

It's usually the cable not the driver itself

Chances are that you need to re-cable your ad700x.  I myself have ad900x and wish it had removable cable.

wow ok , my cable isnt removable either. Do i somehow need to mod it?

If it still has warranty, just return it.

I've returned IEMs that had a similar problem (one of them was too quiet) and got a full refund.

Yay, thats the problem I can't seem to find the warranty in my box (i literatly threw nothing away), doesnt say anything about it on their website either:

EDIT: Im going to contact the support now, wish me luck.  :)
