Google has announced that there will not be any facial recognition apps on Glass in the near future

"In a Google+ post this week, the makers of Google Glass made an announcement to let everyone know that facial recognition applications will never be allowed on Glass without strong privacy protections in place."

I hope this decision will help google glass from getting banned in public places

i doubt it will because you can still film and then use face rec afterwards on another system if you wanted to

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?
