So I'm fairly new to building a machine for my own purposes. In the past I've been stuck with whatever laptop I got as a hand me down from my dad (he does gigantic spreadsheets and such for work so they were fairly powerful, but not for what I want to do). So I've been doing my research, watching linus tech tips videos, reading reviews etc. And this is what I've come up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/DJluigi10/saved/vkJp99 . My budget is around $1500 with a cap of around $1700. I have no idea on what to get as far as monitors go. I want to run dual monitors for now and eventually 3 maybe for an immersion gaming experience. Speaking of games, I would like to be able to run games like BF4 and Skyrim at full resolution. Which leads to my first big part, the XFX Radeon R9 290 GPU. This actually came recommended from a friend. I like the price point on the i5 4690K and overclocking capabilities. For Cooling I'd like to eventually go for a custom loop but for now I had to keep my budget in mind thus the coolermaster seidon 240m. I saw one that was expandable in a recent linus video but the name escaped me and so did the video. The Phanteks Enthoo Pro case I really love for the looks, modding capacity (future plans), and water cooling capacity. The mobo came recommended and I'm flexible on it. I am sticking with it for the color scheme (though I'd love to go with a blue color scheme because I'm red green colorblind). For peripherals, I already have the Razer Oroborous, razer black widow ultimate 2014, and Razer kraken Headset (all green, I know, IDC). So IF you have any suggestions, or things I could change, please let me know!

Edit: After listening to the advice of those below, I've updated to this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/DJluigi10/saved/vkJp99

Made some slight improvements.

The cooler isn't completely necessary, but with a case like the Enthoo Pro, I would personally go for the H320. And it is expandable for future water-cooling ventures. Also, the GTX 970 is more powerful and cheaper than the R9 290. The ACX 2.0 card is known to have a slight issue - that the card's core doesn't make contact with all three heatpipes, but it is not that big of an issue considering it is still good temp-wise. Also, a nicer motherboard because you can afford it. For monitors, I can wholeheartedly recommend three AOC i2367f or Acer H236hlbid.

You mean the Swifttech H220X. That one is expandable!

Also is there any other reason, besides your friend reecommending the card, that you picked tthis exact 290?

You could get a GTX 970 as well, which is MUCH cheaper and just as powerful if not better. Here! As far as I know you even keep your warranty on EVGA cards when replacing the cooler with a waterblock (might want to double-chekc that though), which would work out nicely with your plan to go all watercooled.

Also I would try to go for an ASUS mainboard, my personal opinion, but I like them much better for OC.

Dual 1080P monitors would be your best choice for that graphics card. Build looks fine. Also look for some ASUS monitors which are Linus' favourite.

Throw the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W. It's only $5 more and gives you headroom to run two GTX 970s in SLI if you feel like it in the future.
