Hello, well I made a post on another section, I wont link it but if you're interested / curious in knowing the full story, you're welcome!

after having some freezing issue and looking everywhere on internet, I heard changing the voltage on my ram could help.

the thing is I never touched ANYTHING about overclocking or playing with the voltage and some says its could be bad for my board and cpu? soo I am asking the pros, my ram is this one http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-pro-series-8gb-2-x-4gb-ddr3-dram-1866mhz-c9-memory-kit-cmy8gx3m2a1866c9

cpu: i7-2600 3.4GHz and motherboard is ASRock Z77 extrem3

Thank you in advance!

I don't think that RAM is the problem. Even 1333mhz RAMs don't have stuttering issues. I'm using a 1600, and see no issues with the clock speed.

I'm suspecting the HDD more.

What kinds of stuttering issues are you facing?

Are we allowed to troubleshoot here? if yes, well I did some test on both drives, no sectors errors

No... You're in the wrong section. I'll report it to an Admin, and hopefully; he'll move the thread. :)

When are you experiencing stuttering issues?

Did you check your disk response time/usage/read&writes?

I really REALLY REALLY don't think it's the RAM.

No sluttering, computer freeze and I have to press the power button to restart, but only when gaming, tried different GPU also and different drivers

It might be your HDD. I've had the same issue with my Dell XPS. Does everything seem to load fast enough?

How long does it take for your PC to boot (programs load completely)?

Than all I can tell you is to monitor your temps, and try running diagnostics.

I've never seen problems with my RAMs, so you can always evex it from Corsair as they have fantastic customer service.

I've just done some research, and I'm seeing numerous RAM issues also.

Try replacing the RAM and try troubleshooting via diagnostics at BIOS.
