my cpu doesnt overclock at all what do you think i should do?

 

i have a nzxt kraken x41

 

Do not want to overvolt will have to if no other choice

What does that mean.... Do you mean you can't get a stable overclock? What voltage and multiplier are you trying?

did you disable adaptive voltage ? up the voltage manually by a tiny amount and up the multi by 1 digit see how you go from there maybe =/

Ummm what...the voltage by default is like 1.0v

You need to raise the voltage. Anything up to 1.30v is perfectly safe for extended periods of time. Most chips can't really overclock until they go up to at least 1.10v. I'm sitting at 4.2ghz and 1.12v.
