I have Windows 7 64 bit currently and I was wondering if I should upgrade to Windows 8.1. I mostly use my rig for gaming. Also I found W8 pretty cheap here https://www.g2a.com/windows-8-professional-32-64-bit-cd-key-global.html .

Whether or not you choose to upgrade I don't think I'd trust that site even if its prices are low. I've heard that they are not a legal retailer and that they sell illegal copies....

I have bought steam codes and Origin codes from them before and it worked just fine.

They will appear to work just fine, but then again so does a pirated copy of windows from what I know. If someone is selling products for that much under the recommended resale value it probably means that they are not coming by those copies legitimately. But then again this is something I have not seen for myself, but rather something I have heard second hand. You may do your own research into it if you like, but I'm just saying I wouldn't trust a sketchy dealer just to save a few bucks.

Well I went and did some research on it and I seems to have come up with mixed reviews. It seems that half of the people that use their site come up with usable keys and the other half get unusable keys. Then when they complain about it they get horrible customer service and sketchy business practices that don't seem to solve the problem...

I also determined that the good keys that they give out seem to be of russian or polish locale, so you may have to switch your IPS region (which can get you banned from steam supposedly).

So in conclusion I'd say not to trust it, there's just to many sketchy things going on there for me to recommend checking it out. But you can always research it yourself and come to your own conclusion. Hope I helped!

There are different sellers on that website that can get ratings and I only buy from the ones that have thousands of sales and 5 stars. The reason some people probably get bad codes is because they pick the cheapest one instead of the most trusted one.
