Laptop Problems

So I have this old acer laptop with a pentium cpu in it.  It is running windows 7.  Whenever I try to log into it, it says "Unable to run logon service."  Scanned the HDD with malwarebytes and search and destroy and found no virus.  Any ideas?

You could:

 

• Re-install Windows
• Use something called 'System Restore' and restore from the last known good configuration

If you can get into safe mode open up command prompt as administrator and type "sfc /scannow" and see if that fixes it.
