Windows repair failed

Okay I have a major problem. My pc won't boot to the start up. Instead, it goes to a repair function and fails to repair.

Thanks to my idiocy, I have no restore points, and I have no Windows 8 installation disks for my OS. Is my OS broken, or is my HDD broken? I hear no clicks from the HDD. The Windows screen is the blue troubleshooting screen. What should I do?

If you need more details I will provide them, I just want this problem fixed.

Have you messed around with the bios lately?

It could be simply that you changed your drive configuration from IDE to AHCI

I have not messed with it, the most recent thing I did was download third party software, I did however restore my pc to a point before said download, if it could be that. Call me an idiot. If not, tell me what I need to either fix or buy a new one, OS or HDD.
