So I have been playing some games lately and they're stuttering. Games I found this in are Borderlands 2 and Fallout: Tale of Two Wastelands (Fallout 3 and New Vegas in one game). Those were the only games I checked with the exception on League of Legends which I did not have stuttering in. Basically what would happen is it would work fine, then catch. Then work fine for a few seconds then catch and so on. THe catches last around half a second and while the games are still playable it is SUPER annoying. my system specs are linked in this PCPartPicker except I have since added another 4x2 kit of the same RAM and my 3570k is at 4,4ghz. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/SlaughterSmurf/saved/DBdrxr

I also have 2 monitors and like to watch twitch steams/netflix/youtube while I play. All of my temps look fine (3570k peaks at 70, 780ti peaks at 75) any ideas why it would be catching like this?

Have you updated your drivers for the graphics card? If not try that, if you have download an older version to fix the problem. For a good two months bf4 was unplayable at the newest drivers. I kept drivers in the 320 something range because every update would cause stuttering and lower fps. Wasn't until the newest 340.11 that it finally improved instead of hindering the games.

Oh thank you, I thought I had. When I checked again I had downloaded it but apparently GeForce Experience also needs me to select install it after downloading it, where I thought it was one click.

Nvidia drivers can be finicky, I've had updates that were suppose to improve the game I play. But actually make the gameplay worse, Just find a driver that works good for you. Write down the driver version or save a copy. That way if you run into some problems with a new one you can revert back easily to the one you know. It has saved me a few times.
