I want to buy a dual socket workstation board for rendering.

A lot of people say that a should buy a supermicro-board... or another brand... but not the ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS if i mean it seriously...

My question is: Why is that? - Are the Asus workstation boards less reliable than other server-board brands when it comes to true workstation-PCs?

I will have enough RAM-Slots on the ASUS Board... are there any other disadvantages in comparison to the supermicro-dual socket boards?
