Please explain what this question means.

Does increasing the power of a group directly change the language it and others not in the group uses.

 

Eg, if our world were to be only experienced online and online users had a very big say on various contended topics, would the English language change from your vs you're in the pre 90s, to just one your in the post 2000s.

Might not be accurate since but it's what i'm getting from it

I am think it's that as well, but it's so badly worded i have no clue if that is correct xD

Is this an example of what you mean?:

An increasing amount of turks in germany is altering some german words.
