How do I oc my cpu ?

I want to oc my g3258 on an ASUS z97-K mobo but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. First I've used the bios tuning, the pc restared but nothing changed, the frequency was the same. Then I've used AI suite III, went to auto tuning, pressed start, the pc restarts and... same story, the frequency was the same and the AI report said that the system had 000% performance increased. So, what's the problem?

Also check do you have adequate cooling or power which might cause the pc restart if the temps get too high or if you don't have enough power.

Well, I modified the multiplier to 40 and the vcore to 1.150 but then my windows wouldn't boot so I did a default reset. I don't understand... Before that I only adjusted the multipiler to 40 and nothing happened.
