Uhm.. Go to the Control Panel>Sound, check the Playback tab and see if the speakers are set as default. Then the the volume. If you've plugged them correctly there shouldn't be any issue with them. Plug different devices, check the volume, make a Windows check, if it is still not working, maybe the audio card is broken.

sorry forgot to mention they are internal speakers that came in the laptop

try re installing the drivers if that doesnt work then you might have to format to see if that fixs it but it sounds like something might have died. if you give us the model number we can have a look into it

its ok i just punched my laptop and it work :) violance is the answer 

 

I don't think punching your laptop is an efficient way of turning on your speakers.

 

I guess your laptop has a loose connection inside and I guess hitting it caused it to work again for now.
