So I'm planning to build a new pc and I really want to go for a gtx 780. I have been checking up the internet and asking some people as well and I'm getting kind of mixed and confusing answers. So what I'm concerned about is will an fx 8350 along with a gtx 780 in the system bottleneck ? and also what about an i5 4690k with a gtx 780, will it bottleneck ?

If neither one of the setups have any bottleneck issues then which cpu would be a better choice to go for, fx 8350 or an i5 4690k for a strictly gaming build ? As you can guess I have a budget restraint so I don't really want to go for an i7 unless thats like the only way I could run a gtx 780 without any bottleneck issues.

Any kind of response would be appreciated. I'm in kind of a rush and I don't really have anyone around who is good with 'tech' stuffs so if anyone comes across this please do share your suggestions. Thanks for your time.

Neither of those CPUs will bottleneck a GTX 780.

Yeah thats the usual response. Although I'm curious to know if the 8350 or the 4690k in comparison  would have any difference in the gaming experience or like fps wise ? and I'm talking about noticeable difference in the gaming experience.

I don't know if this is the right place to be putting this, But I just need help.

I am using and AMD GPU, and a GeForce GTX 780, could I just use the AMD GPU to slightly improve the performance of the 780 while still being to use shadowplay?

I am using a i5 3570k.

And one other thing, Will my i5 be able to support the 780?

Most people who have 8350s say that there is no difference, although you should probably consult with people who actually have the chip.

i5 4670k (can OC to 4.4Ghz) - Hyper 212 evo w/ AC MX2 - XFX Radeon R9 280X8GB ADATA XPG V2 DDR3-1600 - MSI Z87 G41 - Corsair CX600M 600W PSU - 1TB HDD - 120GB SSD

No, you can't combine GPUs from different vendors. (not easily at least) Choose one or the other, and use the unused one in another rig so it's not wasted.

I'm pretty sure that the 3570k can support a 780, but don't quote me on that.

Thank you, I have another PC that I can utilize the other GPU (which is an SAPPHIRE HD 7970 btw).
