I've been having usb issues latly. I had my keyboard my mouse my dac my flash drive my old headset and I believe one other thing all hooked up to some of my usb 2.0 ports on my rig. Basically I wasn't able to power or process all of them at once or something along those lines. A coworker said it was because of bandwidth limitations . That's something I can't change. I realized that its probably because if my dac. Especially when I'm when I'm sending alot of audio data though it. Now my pc is packed up because I'm moving. My thought is to move some devices to usb 3.0 ports. Would they be on a separate bandwidth?

Here is where I would keep my frolics if I had any.

What do you mean separate bandwidth? It'll be controlled by a southbridge chipset(though technically not called that now). USB 3.0 ports will be controlled by that chip. Also, were those devices all connected to the same USB port? If so, it's because USB ports have a very limited amount of power they can deliver to devices(they deliver less than a watt each I think). Also, they have limited bandwidth(about 25MB/s continuous). Also, USB plugs based around 2.0 will not take advantage of 3.0 ports. It will run at USB 2.0 speeds.
