So my buddy was playing DP against a Razor mid. Well every time he launched crypt swarm it set off razors debuff for slow and damage. However Razor's ability is supposed to be activated against abilities targeted at razor. Crypt swarm is a point target not a unit target. Is this just a bug? or an exception to the rule?

 

Death Prophet's crypt swarm can be point targeted. This should be your friend's issue, as many point target spells can be cast on the ground or at a unit (hero or creep, making it temporarily a unit target spell). If you target the ground in front of Razor, it should hit him without triggering Razor's passive. You'll notice that Zeus's lightning bolt can also be targeted on the ground, hitting an area of effect without triggering pesky passives that Razor's.

Okay makes sense. Although im not sure if ever targets a person specifically. I know I usually hit the ground in front of me when I play dp but maybe he was clicking him
