I wouldn't say its really worth it, the i5-750 is around 4-5 years old and won't be very good for a whole lot compared to other solutions that would cost less.

yes but the rest of the build is pretty much crap and the fact that no one bought it explains it all

With an upgraded CPU/Mobo combo and a call to Microsoft to have the license transferred over to the other motherboard, it'd be worth it... see if you can explain to him how shit house that CPU/Mobo combo is and then talk him down.

Thats not that bad of a price, but you could do better. Also the ram and cpu may bottleneck that gpu.
